Jessica Richardson, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology; A.T. Still University (Class of 2012)

A native of Forest Grove, Jessica attended Forest Grove High School and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She then attended Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. While attending BYU, Jessica was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and received the Ira & Mary Lou Fulton Chair Student Research Grant through the College of Health and Human Performance. She also volunteered with an international non-profit organization, the Health Education and Literacy (HEAL) Foundation, as a mobile health unit team leader where she taught health education in the slums of Hyderabad, India. She also served as an executive board member where she participated in board meetings and collaborated with other non-profit organizations.

Jessica received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Science and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. As a doctoral student, Jessica was consistently recognized at national and local levels for academic excellence, exceptional clinical skills, outstanding contributions to community and the profession, and strength of character. Honors and awards she has received include the Audiology Foundation of America Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarship (2010-2011), the Starkey William F. Austin Scholarship (2010-2011), the American Academy of Audiology Foundation Roger Ruth Memorial Scholarship (2010-2011), and the A.T. Still University Au.D. Student Excellence Endowed Scholarship (2011) and Outstanding Student in Audiology Award (2012). Jessica completed her clinical externship at Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona and Affiliated Audiology Consultants in Phoenix, Arizona.  Dr. Richardson is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and licensed to practice in Oregon. Jessica is also a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified personal fitness trainer.

Her interests include playing the piano and guitar, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with family.
